ONE MODEL, THREE VERY DIFFERENT STARTING POINTS

A global manufacturer, a Series-A scaleup and a city authority don't stall in the same place.

We built a work stream around how you actually operate.

2 national CIRCO tracks led
6 Baltic Sea cities in the CCC roadmap
5 levels in the Circular Readiness framework
01

Corporates & SMEs

Understand whether your business is actually ready to scale circular initiatives.

  • Diagnose where circular progress is stalling across functions
  • Translate ESG and CSRD pressure into operational change
  • Align leadership, governance and incentives behind circular outcomes

WHERE THIS PRACTICE WAS BUILT

This practice wasn't born in a strategy deck. Alexander built it from inside BlueCity, Rotterdam's circular economy hub, leading two national CIRCO tracks — offshore wind and electrolysers — and recruiting every participating company himself. If you have ever tried to get competing manufacturers into one room, you know what that takes.

Today that work continues on the expert panel of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), in the finance and bioeconomy streams.

02

Startups & Scaleups

Sharpen your circular value proposition and prove you can scale.

  • Stress-test the circular logic of your business model
  • Develop evidence that wins corporates and investors
  • Map funding routes, grants and policy pathways for your stage

We are long-term strategic partner to BioGraphene Ireland as it scales bio-based graphene — working alongside the team from business development to investment readiness. We also support SourceLoop on turning a circular proposition into a structured, investable path.

03

Regions & Cities

Build the conditions for circular activity, investment and coordination.

  • Move from policy intent to practical implementation pathways
  • Coordinate businesses, institutions and citizens around shared goals
  • Build investment readiness for circular infrastructure

LIVE NOW — INTERREG BALTIC SEA REGION

We are developing the policy roadmap for Creative Circular Cities (CCC), an Interreg Baltic Sea Region project running 2023–2026 with six pilot cities — Aarhus, Kiel, Gdynia, Riga, Tallinn and Turku — turning circular ambition into decisions city administrations can actually take.

We also founded and steward The Circular Economists, an international community of practice for people doing the work of the circular transition.
