The EU-27 economy was 12.2% circular in 2024, up from 10.7% in 2010. Move through the years, pick a country, and see how its rate has moved since 2010.

The circular material use rate measures the share of material fed back into the economy from recovered waste, as a proportion of all material used. Figures are Eurostat indicator cei_srm030, covering the EU-27 from 2010 to 2024. Countries outside the EU-27 are not in this dataset and are shown in grey.
